Marc O’Regan and Hamid Khan Share Moving Photos and Stories
Saturday evening’s event at Viento y Agua Gallery brought out over 100 people from around the Greater Los Angeles and Long Beach area. Marc O’Regan and Hamid Khan described their experiences while showing photos of their recent stays in Kashmir, backed by beautiful ambient ragas and other South Asian music.
When the request for donations was made, everyone stepped up to amazing levels of generosity, making it possible to send a significant donation to Operation Heartbeat.
After questions and answers, local musicians including WuT and Dave Williams’ MajicBulletTheory band played until 10:30 p.m., setting a positive vibe to celebrate our connections with humanity when we take actions to be a part of the solution.
